My weekend

Friday night, my husband and I rode his bike down to Bikes, Blues, and Barbecue. It's been a long time since I've ridden, but once I relaxed, I really had fun. Don't worry, we left the little one (and her pink bunny) at home with a sitter.

My husband and brothers-in-law with their custom-painted bikes.

Saturday, I hung out with the old high school gals and we ate at my favorite place, the Oasis.

This is the back dining area, really a hallway, where I usually sit.

You can enjoy the local art and festival and concert ads, while you wait an hour for your all natural Ark-Mex cuisine. With two workers and everything made from scratch, they don't claim to be fast.

See the kitchen where the cook made my Larrito (beans, cheese, green peppers, tomatoes, onions and fresh garlic on a whole wheat flour tortilla with salad and fresh salsa). The Jacquito is also a favorite.

Here's the group, complete with offspring.

The little ones played with Lokey.

The most uplifting part of the weekend was watching the semiannual General Conference of my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I heard prophets and other inspired men and women testify of Christ and give pertinent instruction. I've got some ideas of how I can make life better. My spirit feels renewed and my resolve strengthened to live more truly the things I know.

I love your family picture on the motorcycle. It is so adorable!

It really isn't nice that you hid your belly behind someone in EVERY picture!

Juli, I keep looking for the cute b-day pictures. Besides that, an update is long overdue. It's not like you have been busy or anything... :)
