Well, more like girls' afternoon. Katie and Celeste and I (friends for 16 years) got together and ate at Smiling Jack's natural foods restaurant. My smoothie and sandwiches were delightful. Then Katie got me my first pedicure. All the while, our kids were in the care of Patrick and Avery. It was a refreshing afternoon, and I'm thankful for wonderful life-long friends.
