pumpkin patch kids 2009

For Family Home Evening last night we hopped over to the Methodist church that sells pumpkins from New Mexico every year. They gave the kids each a little pumpkin and let us take a picture. In this one, Josie looks like she's doing "excited", which is to tense up, fists clenched and smiling, so your whole body is nearly shaking in sheer excitement. I can't explain it well, but both our kids were born with it, and they inherited it from me.

We must have left Simon's shoes somewhere, so like the good parents we are we let him run around in socks while it drizzled at the pumpkin patch. His socked feet left this perfect mark on our driveway at home.

Alli does the shaking with excitement thing all the time. She's done it since she was a baby. It's hilarious.
