South Window in Winter

I think they put Valentine's Day in February because it would be the most depressing month otherwise. Lately I suffer from the H word (hormones), and this can be pretty bad combined with lack of sun. (Don't worry, I'm okay.) In February 2003, my roommates and I had to escape from Provo with a trip to Sedona to combat the winter yucky feeling. Today the low winter sun in my south window makes me feel good though. I can't wait for when I can trade the winter shoes my kids wear in these pictures for my black Chaco sandals. That will mean sunshine and getting to use the picnic blanket I plan to get done before the baby comes.

I hope your winter has sunshine and joy and ends soon :)

ooohh... What a neat project. I'd love to see pictures of the finished blanket. I, too, am craving sunlight!

It's funny...I miss the winter yucky...because nothing makes the sunshine more beautiful (and appreciated) then the prolonged yucky. "Here comes the sun...do do do do!" Sorry about the H's....hope they become little h's soon.
