We had some mother-daughter shopping time this morning where I bought her a dozen roses like she has been wanting for quite some time.
The next item on her list was a vintage hat with netting in front, so we stopped in at The Vintage
Violet, a local boutique. Little did I know that the owner will dress little girls up and take their picture on their birthday.
Josie is getting out of princesses and into vintage dress-ups. So fun!
Her favorite activity is still to draw, but she also loves a good story: history, being read to, and learning to read if I can trick her into it :)
Lately Josie has matured; she has gotten over a fear of being alone so will play by herself in her room again and has decided she wants to keep her room clean. Yay!
My favorite thing to do with Josie is read or just chat. It is so neat to hear what she is thinking.
