March 2013: Mug Shots, Playtime, Easter, Rearrangement, Kyle's Birthday

Tate
I'm not sure of the reason behind these "mug shots," but nonetheless, I'm glad to have one of our neighbor, Tate. He is a bit older than Josie and Simon (I think he's 9), and when they all first started, he would frankly get a little overwhelmed with our two oldest fighting over him. Sometimes he had to take a break. But with some patience on his part and calming down on our part, they have become comfortable friends. It's nice to have good neighbors, and that is something I will really miss about where we live. I hope we can find good neighbors in our new place too.

Josie
Our "every others" get along well most times. Since the kids are very close in age, there are sometimes difficulties with the ones they are closest to. However they are each about 3 1/2 years apart from the ones they aren't closest to, and that is good spacing for getting along. Here are the "evens" playing.

Didn't the kids look so handsome on Easter Sunday? (Now where are those egg dyeing pictures?)

Myself and the little dearies
I rearrange and reorganize my home pretty often. Here are a few shots (and not even tidied up!) for my friends who live far away and can't see it in person. Of course, this is the best ever arrangement, Katie Walker.

I love this little space. Those sweet DeGrazia prints are from my gramma, and I got the window from a neighbor's house, painted by Samantha.

A few times this year, we have had Lusi and Damien Damuni over to play. Damien and Kyle are friends from Nursery at church. We had them over on Kyle's birthday just to play and had an impromptu cupcake thing. Kid parties are not my forte. Yay for easiness!

Thanks for the little tour of your house, or at least some of it. Always fun to see the space my good friends live in. Makes it almost like a real visit. Wait, now you have to do your new place! I'm behind!

I also think you look gorgeous in that picture with the kids. Nice hair!
