Yep, we rode the bike again at Bikes Blues and Barbecue this year. (I might add that the music, the food, and definitely the people --who don't ride bikes by the way but just surface at every festival to drink and be disgusting-- were negatively noteworthy.) And yes, my Birkenstocks are still my most comfortable sandal after having them for 10 years. I love riding on that motorcycle. I am not a thrill seeker. I don't like amusement parks; even swinging makes me dizzy. I have to catch my breath in the car going down a dip in the road. But, man, a '72 Honda 350 on a clear night feels good to the soul.

Oh, Juli, you're making me jealous! I have a hidden love for motorcycles. I have to keep that a secret because I don't want my kids growing up and riding them. Way too dangerous! :)
as it should, i hope bikes and blues went wonderful. i hope the execution went as planned and i bet the performance was stellar. miss you.
Before I even read the post I was looking at the picture and wondering if those were the same sandals from college! That's pretty funny you had already commented on my thought before I even thought of it.
That's a great picture! Looks like fun =)
You need to convince Melissa to let me get a bike. I'm sure if it comes from you she'll be more than willing...
