a friend's passing

Yesterday, I learned that a former co-worker passed away suddenly over the weekend. I regret that the last time I saw her I did not take time to talk to her in any depth. I know that it is really okay, but I am sorry for not being a better friend. I am also sad for her family. She has left 5 children. It just makes me think more on what is important. I'll miss you, Maria.
