I've spent too much time on facebook and the computer in general lately. And I'm really bored of it, but this doesn't count because I'm sharing pictures with you that were taken spending time outside mostly or getting ready to spend time outside, as you will see as you continue.
Our tomatoes have flourished this year. I attribute it to last winter's compost-burying in the garden bed. Simon loves to pick red and green tomatoes. We have Romas and an heirloom variety called Ruth's Perfect. It's from Wisconsin, where I was born, so I feel good about it. We hope to plant the seeds next year for the same crop. That's one of the good things about heirlooms.

Patrick's been talking to the kids about camping and they are excited. We plan to go as a family in about a month when I'm feeling better and the weather is perfect.

wow, Simon is getting so big?
He does look just like a "little buster."
FYI, All of our tomatoes (10 flourishing and LOADED plants) died on August 16th, the first hard freeze of Fall.
Enjoy that southern growing season, my friend.
I love the pic of Josie & Simon in the sleeping bag together!
Is that pink lipstick? Yeah for your garden!
Ohh! Your tomatoes and kids look yummy. I love the pic with you and Simon. I, too, am enjoying some one-on-one time with Charlie and I seem to like him better!
