Speaking of children already having personalities when they are born, Simon must have arrived with determination. From a very young age, I would tell Josie "no" and she would stop. Simon, on the other hand, just grins with delight and turns back to doing what he was doing- again and again. At this age, he likes to climb onto the back of the chair and get into the kitchen sink, or drive his car into the street. As he grows, I hope he will use this tenacity to pursue worthy goals in the face of opposition.
