family thankful night

Finally a cold night.
Josie teaches family home evening about being thankful. She adds princesses and Blues Clues to her thankful list. We put our beanies on and head to WalMart to buy caramels.

Patrick and I think the kids are the cutest ever bundled up guys. Patrick says he doesn't look good in a beanie.
I disagree.

(Our shower curtain makes a great backdrop.)

I cut up the Arkansas Black variety we got at a farmer's stand weeks ago. Celeste introduced me to them. Patrick melts the caramels. I think about Jill, who really likes caramels (I think).

We dip our apple slices. Simon can't help but burn his pinkie while dipping apples and can't seem to get over it.
I sing and rock him to sleep like he was a baby.

Thankful feelings all around.

Hi Juli!
You are a good writer, too! This is the first time I have read a blog in present-tense. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
