We got our tree last night; we wanted to get it at Wisconsin Tree Farms, but in the end opted for a lower price at Lowe's. To me, a Fraser fir is perfect, with lots of nooks for ornaments. Many of ours are from when we were kids; some homemade, some received as gifts, no two alike. The unifying element is red wooden beads and white lights. Josie put the star on top, and this is the best (and only) shot I got. Most of my decorations are homemade too, including dog Sara's stocking made by Patrick last year. The joy and wonder of Christmas are truly amplified by little ones so in awe and excited. we finished the evening drinking Ghirardelli's hot chocolate. So nice.

O Christmas Tree
