Checked my friend Katie's blog today and found one of those posts with ten things about her. I loved reading about her from her point of view. Anyway, she picked me to do the same thing, and it was just the motivation I needed to post.
So, here are ten things about me:
1. I have the magic touch when it comes to rolling dice or drawing out of a hat. I can often get the number/color/whatever if I think about it in just the right way. I'm also kind of psychic in knowing little stuff like this. I'm not kidding!
2. My two crimes of choice would be A. changing business marquees to say funny stuff, and B. graffiti-ing "gentlemen's clubs" and smashing in their windows.
3. It has only been since having children that I could not immediately locate anything I owned. Organizing is FUN to me, and I like things to be organized according to at least two qualities. In this way there is a sequence.
4. I love language and words. This affinity does not mean that I always use correct grammar, etc. It just means I really love language. The last year I lived in Provo, I used to read my dictionary for fun on a Friday night- yeah, I'm cool like that. Now a hobby Patrick and I have is to look up word etymologies and find out how two similar words are related. Child linguistic development fascinates me at this stage of my life.
5. My favorite colors to wear are blue and white. Bright colors (think small Mexican houses) make me very happy.
6. I have a bad habit of interrupting when people are talking. I'm trying to be a better listener.
7. I like to fight for the right. A more significant run-in I've had is with a Walmart employee smoking right outside the door (rudely AND illegally!). It became even more heated, as I was pregnant and carrying a toddler. I won and even wrote to the store manager to follow up.
8. I love lilacs (the smell!), pink tulips, sunflowers, poppies, and morning glories.
9. I believe that when friends get together they should eat. Cooking together makes it even more fun.
10. My alter-ego is a Spanish singer. I have performed with Patrick once, and it was so fun! I would like to do it again when I have more time. Oh yeah, and I'm learning to sing alto (not in Spanish though).
I tag the following ladies to write ten things about themselves: Katrena, Candice, Andrea. You can write any ten things.

I love this list, especially the "crimes of choice". I want to put political bumper sticker son peoples' cars. Not of the person they are voting for, of course.
I just planted some lilacs by my back porch, and a row of sunflowers too! Sunflowers always make me think of you. thanks for doing the list :)
