Dear Friends and Family,
We hope this finds you filled with the peace and joy this season brings!
Feeling so thankful for how each of you has touched our lives and helped us along, we decided to post our card on the blog so it could reach more of you.
This year has been one of much learning and growing for our family, and here is the update:
Taylor (16 mos.) is such a sweet little brother. He has 12 teeth and is working on more! He loves his blanket, singing his favorite lullaby "Shule A Roo," and wrestling with brothers. He can says everyone's name but affectionately calls me, "Hi Guy."
An exuberant smile is possessed by Kyle (2.75 yrs.) who practically forces it on us at random times and especially when anyone is sad. He often plays with one special toy all day long and can be heard voicing conversations between his little guys. And, we are all so happy he wears undies and uses the toilet now!
Simon (4.833 yrs.) wants to be his best and inspires us with compassion toward others. He plays drums, learns quickly, and can be counted on with helping and having responsibility. He treasures one on one time and especially his bedtime story.
Josie (6) is proud of her "amazing drawing skills." She always keeps her ears open and understands the subtleties of the way things and ideas work. A little mommy for her brothers, Josie has also begun helping me in the kitchen. She is taking ballet for the first time this year.
Juli is glad to be in her thirties! Between cooking, planning, and teaching the kids, she occasionally finds time to research family history, spray paint random furniture, and organize. She teaches the gospel principles class at church. She and the kids have done some neat field trips this year and participated in a homeschool co-op.
Patrick completed his Master's degree in music theory this May. He still teaches private guitar lessons, but also teaches at the New School (a private school in Fayetteville). He finds a lot of enjoyment performing classical guitar, rock, and original compositions at a few local venues. He is the Sunday School president at church.
Merry Christmas!
We love you!
