Wallpaper Notes

Once upon a time, I lived in a yellow house with wonderful friends.
We were the last to call that abode our home. The owner tore it down and built condos.
Before I left, I pulled some strips of vintage wallpaper off my beautiful bedroom walls.
You can see it on the header of my blog. My intention was to write personal notes to people on it. I do sometimes.

If I had a pen in hand right now, these notes would be on the back of vintage wallpaper, stuffed in envelopes and traveling through the USPS to hands of these folks:

Andrea, for timely phone conversations that show sincere love
Katie G, for letting me borrow that sprinkler ring which provided hours of fun for kids
Katie W, an easy friend and someone I miss a lot
Luisa, for doing my dishes
Samantha, for sharing home decorating ideas and being excited but really so much more
Kristal, for listening
Jessie, for being a faithful, sincere friend
Marrianne, wise and kind
Mom, for knowing me

And many more.
The things these girls have done lately have really made me feel the love.
