I made a pretty cheesecake (picture below). I used my mom's recipe (above), and then I melted Ghirardelli's bittersweet chocolate chips and drizzled it. It was great.
Once I was telling my sis-in-law Tara (who knows a lot about nutrition) that I don't like cake or desserts that are cake-y. She put it well: Desserts should have high fat and sugar content. Love seeing all of your blog updates! I missed you while on your hiatus. :) I too dislike cake-y desserts. It's cookies and chocolate for me!
