This winter seems so long and so short at the same time.
Long because we have all been sick. We all had a stomach bug, then we all got head colds/coughs/sinus infections/snotty noses. I think it started some time about the end of January?
Short because it is so stinking warm! With its record lows, and heaps of snow, last winter was the evil twin of this winter. Tomorrow is supposed to be 69 and sunny. I like the variation. Even so, yesterday the kids and I made a construction paper chain to count down until the start of spring. Today it has 28 days on it, if I remember right. It is made all of springy colors, except a very rusty brown that Simon insisted on. We decided it could represent the soil we plant in.
